Daniel W. Thompson
Daniel W. Thompson’s fiction has appeared recently or is forthcoming at publications like Bartleby Snopes, Jersey Devil Press, Literary Orphans, decomP, and Spartan. As a child, his grandfather paid him $5 an hour to clean up frozen cow patties and pull stones out of the vegetable garden. Now he lives in downtown Richmond, VA with his wife and daughter cleaning up diapers and dog fur – no compensation has been offered.

Charlie Weeks is a writer and consummate observer riding subways and walking the streets of New York City; believing we live in extraordinary times most are too busy staring at their smart phones to acknowledge. In the mean time, he’s always working out how to express himself in ways our normal use of language can fail to express effectively. He has been a featured poet in The Morning Bell Journal, as well having been published in the Grey Sparrow Journal and the Doctor T.J. Eckleburg Review.
Julia Houk
Julia Houk is a poet and non-fiction writer. Her work has appeared in A Clean, Well-Lighted Place and the Denver Writing Project fellows’ anthology. She served as the undergraduate fiction editor of Copper Nickel. This spring she had the honor of representing the Denver chapter of the National Writing Project for NWP’s congressional meetings.
Keith Buie
Keith Buie lives in Cleveland, Ohio. His work has appeared in Burnt Tongues, an anthology edited by best-selling author Chuck Palahniuk, as well as in Eleven Eleven, The MacGuffin, Natural Bridge, Pisgah Review, Quiddity International Literary Journal, Rio Grande Review, Willard & Maple, and Metal Scratches. He is currently writing his first novel.
Anita Roberts Soupir
Anita Roberts Soupir is a freelance writer and owner of the cooking blog, ‘theunabashedkitchenwench.blogspot.com.’ She is also a member of the following writing groups: Scribophile.com and Critiquecircle.com. Her latest project is the first in a series of 6 books called The Dessert Club, with the title being ‘Don’t Trifle With Me.’
J. Edward Kruft
J. Edward Kruft received his MFA in fiction writing from Brooklyn College. His stories have most recently appeared in Bop Dead City, Bartleby Snopes and the Eunoia Review. His favorite drink is a Manhattan, up. Recently, he’s started enjoying them with a twist of lemon instead of the traditional cherry. He lives in Astoria, NY and Asbury Park, NJ with his husband, Mike, and their Keeshond-mix rescue, Aine.
Mark Jones
Mark Jones is an English professor who teaches a range of courses including Shakespeare and linguistics. As a writing teacher and amateur jazz pianist, he is fascinated by improvisation in music and in other forms of composition. His most recent creative work has appeared in Bewildering Stories, Boston Poetry Magazine, Lantern Magazine, Paper Wasp, and Poehemians.
Catherine Gonick
Catherine Gonick attended U.C. Berkeley as an undergraduate, where she was awarded the Ina Coolbrith Memorial Prize for Poetry, and completed an MA in Creative Writing at the City University of New York. She was a finalist in the National Ten-Minute Play Contest with the Actors Theatre of Louisville. She has studied with Thom Gunn, June Jordan, Larry Carr, and Bram Lewis, and most recently attended a workshop with Kurt Brown at the Hudson Valley Writers’ Center. Her work has appeared in Boston Review, Pivot, City, and Zone.
