I really liked reading “Lines”. I have read some of Eric’s other work and as much as our lives interacted growing up, it is always interesting to have those memories fleshed out with ones I never knew even though these other memories may be painful.
Wonderful stuff! I enjoyed Jennifer Kikoler’s flash fiction about beets: “Like the best humans, they are sweet, funky, earthy and adaptable.”
