Raised in rural Virginia, Olivia J. Kiers is based in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she is the Curatorial Assistant at the Worcester Art Museum. Formerly, she was the Assistant Editor for Art New England magazine, Panorama: The Official Guide to Boston, and Boston-area Playbill theater programs. In 2010, she was the Executive Editor of Virginia Literary Review, a student-run publication at the University of Virginia. Olivia‘s poetry has been featured in Bewildering Stories, The Ekphrastic Review, Gyroscope Review, Sunset Liminal, Panoply, and others. Her art criticism has appeared in Art New England, Sequitur, Big Red & Shiny, The Rib, and Boston Art Review. In 2015, she received the Mamie Elizabeth Hyatt Memorial Award for Scholarly Writing from Boston University’s Department of History of Art & Architecture.
