Taylor, this brings back memories from the family homestead in Dakota. Laundry days were on Monday. If we were lucky it was sunny and windy. Nothing better then fresh sheets from an outdoor clothes line!
To the previous anonymous comment- I have to assume you’re a facebook friend (or relative?) who saw my post and checked out the issue, but I believe you may have mistaken “Ode to Sheets that Blow in the Wind” by Linda Ardinson for my poem, “A Response”. Perhaps you saw only the excerpt and did not open the full issue? In any case, Linda’s piece certainly deserves that praise, as it’s such wonderful piece, and I don’t want to steal any credit!
Taylor thats really good man! Congratulations (:
I did enjoy that
A Response,

I loved this story! The restaurant is very reminiscent of one I’ve been to, and the descriptions of the restaurant and characters make me feel I’m back home in Texas.
I have to admit that I I was surprised and pleased with the ending. Great story, very entertaining, and wonderfully written.

Great story. Sounds like BBQ places all over Texas.
