that I give back to you now, this writing
spelled out in the alphabet of my years,
these words spilling like black blood on the page.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading the work in Issue 165, especially the sequence of poems, Cormorant by Philip Kane, a tour de force!
I just discovered your magazine and enjoyed Issue 165, especially “Little Mister” by Linda Heuring. It made me laugh and cringe. I think I’ve seen that guy’s posts on facebook 🙂
Yes, the poetry of my son. It is brutal. It is also real.
Tige Ashton DeCoster, my son. It is brutal. It is real.
Again, I amazed by Linda Heuring’s writing.
I really enjoyed the story “Little Mister by Linda Heuring. It was quite a creative piece. My career has been working with dogs so it was a fun read for me.
I read Linda Heruing’s story and found it to be very good.. Congrats to her on her submission. A note, my Dad Bill sent me the article.
I loved “Little Mister.” The tone was just right and the characters were memorable. Thank you, Linda Heuring, for bringing a smile to my face.
“Little Mister” was so much fun to read. I smiled all the way through. The language was like talking with some people I grew up with. She got that right! Keep the stories coming Linda.
