What an inspiring pairing of Dr. Beeks’ illustration by Leah Burbank and “Inert Passes” by Lee Todd Lacks. The hyper focused scientist with his fascination with gases and their color, among other curious and beautiful things is reflected in the illustration showing brilliant glowing color in the face of the Dr. Beeks like the magnificent colors certain gases will display when “heated up”!
Love Leah Burbank’s art piece that accompanies the prose Inert Passes. One does not forget such a vibrantly dramatic visage which has been distressed into sharp strokes in energy, colors, and introspection. Great work, Leah.
