I love this concept and appreciated the contributions, especially the poem entitled Debris.
The poem entitled ‘Debris’ is a mature work by a brilliant, balanced and passionate artist. Ms. McQueen’s use of heavy, dark images and almost light-hearted commentary creates a sense of juxtaposion that trensends the subject of the work. The reflection backward on an emotion which, at the time it occurred was happy and is now more complex and colored by pain, has left an imprint on me that will last. More McQueen!
